The table below describes the enhancements included in the new version: Version Release Date Added Enhancements and Corrections 1.30 (ASFT02-130) 4/5/94 A problem with processing Command 7, Option 1 was corrected. A problem with processing Command 36 was corrected. The printer would print only in 6 LPI if the Suppress LPI command was selected. Problems with the correct horizontal position after a transparent command were solved. The problem with horizontal positioning after FF was corrected. In some cases, the horizontal position was not reset to 1, which caused the first line on the next page to be misaligned. Corrected problems with the bolding feature after a transparent command was received. Self-test printouts were rectified (Command 36 and Command 37, Option 0) The logic for the Suppress Form Command for HP printers was improved. The CP 850 LU3 character translation was adjusted. The CP 850 LU3 single quote character ' printed as an acute accent . Logic was added to not send form length to printer if MPL of 0 was selected. Epson matrix printers are now forced to use the CP 850 graphics character table. Non-printing characters are now allowed anywhere in a Command Pass-Thru command. Logic was added to check if pgtop needs to run before user strings are sent. If firmware version 1.30 is needed, please call the I-O BBS at (801) 973-4971 and download 93152130.EXE; or contact I-O Customer Support and ask for firmware Version 1.30. Firmware upgrades are available free of charge to users of the I-O 9315, if the product is still under warranty. If the product is not under warranty, there is a $25.00 charge for upgrade. Upgrades are shipped by regular parcel post. If you require other shipping arrangements, you will be responsible for the cost.
